FULL AND PART-TIME MEMBER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES (Tellers).
Join our team and help us on our mission of creating opportunities for our members and their families. As a Member Services Representative for Taleris, you will be interacting with our members and potential members on a daily basis. You will be providing personal, consultative service to these individuals which will include providing account related services in person, online and on the telephone; recommending and cross-selling Taleris products and services; and providing ongoing support for all other member financial needs.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Accurate and efficient transaction processing and account maintenance skills
- Providing guidance to members by utilizing effective listening and problem solving skills
- Recognizing the financial needs/goals of members and responding to them in a consultative manner by recommending and cross selling beneficial products and services
- Complying with member requests for account services, providing accurate and timely answers to inquiries, and resolving member account related issues
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Maintaining a positive, professional, and friendly attitude with members and staff
- Adherence to Taleris policies, procedures and guidelines
Job Requirements include:
- Minimum of one (1) year Frontline Financial Services experience (bank, credit union or similar)
- Sales – consultative cross selling experience
- Strong ability for attention to detail
- Excellent computer, customer service, and communication skills
- Cash handling and general math skills
- Ability and willingness to maintain a consistent level of professionalism and excellence in a member service environment
- Being a team player
- Ability to multi-task

LOAN UNDERWRITER (LOAN OFFICER)
Role
Under general supervision, is responsible for reviewing, analyzing and underwriting basic consumer loan applications within Credit Union and industry guidelines.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- 40% Evaluates risk utilizing a thorough analysis of the borrower’s application, account and credit information and approves both direct and indirect loans within limits set by the Board of Directors.
- 25% Evaluate credit reports and accounts to identify sales opportunities
- 20% Work closely with Loan Specialists and other Credit Union staff as needed to process loans quickly and efficiently.
- 10% Assembles documents in loan file, including acceptance or denial, and returns file to file room.
- 5% Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Performance Measurements:
- Ensure Credit Union and government standards are met at all times ensuring accuracy on all
documents with zero errors. - Maintain a professional, courteous, and friendly atmosphere for members and co workers.
- Maintain knowledge of available loan products
- Interpret and analyze tax returns and financial documents.
- Handle confidential material in a professional, highly ethical manner.
- Ensure loan documents are in compliance with policies and procedures. All documents
have been properly signed, endorsed and remain current in loan file. - Demonstrate and maintain good working knowledge of Credit Union and government standards
through continued research. - Organize and complete member loan files within prescribed time frame.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Experience Two years to five years of similar or related experience.
- Education Some college preferred

ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST
Role:
To maintain payroll in compliance with credit union policy and government regulations. Administrates payroll input, payroll deductions, tax payments, enrollment of employees for benefit programs. Maintains, balances and posts incoming ACH transactions. Reviews and identifies ACH exceptions for posting or rejection.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains and coordinates all aspects of the credit unions ACH/EFT Administration including but not limited to balancing ACH files received, review exceptions, reversals, death notices, returns and reclamations within NACHA deadlines.
- Performs General bookkeeping duties including but not limited to reconciling bank statements, general ledger accounts and dealer reserve ledger.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Two years to five years of similar or related experience.
- A two year college degree OR Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school OR Completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program.
- Knowledge of bookkeeping principles, procedures and credit union accounting reports and procedures.
- Ability to focus on details.
- Strong knowledge of NACHA rules and regulations.
- Strong working knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing software; and be able to use PC and general office equipment.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion.
